So this motor I recently received wasn't everything I expected in that it is missing the mount and prop adapter.

Here I am looking around trying to figure out what I can do without spending another $30 and waiting another week for parts. The I spot the kids' Meccano box on the edge of their little workbench (I built one for them beside my big bench). And the gears in my head start turning.

Look at the treasure I found! Drill a couple holes in the right spot and away we go. Now if only I had a prop adapter for this thing. Hmmmm what else is in their box ..........

Make a note of this one guys. The motor is an AXI 2212. This will also work for the 2208 and even the 2808 I have, although the 2808 is a bit tighter fit to get in there. Once it is in the clearances are sufficient.
