Which J-3 Cub ???

Considering buying a J-3 Cub as have some history flying in them earlier in life.

No room to build a larger one so I'm interested in and ARF.

Question is which one should I buy? The three contenders in my mind are.

Hangar 9
Great Planes
Thunder Tiger

have seen some knock offs on ebay but they interst me very little thus far.

Any wisdom on the subject is appreciated. So far the Hangar 9 is of interst becainterstedthe lack of problems I have had with previous products.

Thanks for thoughs and obsevations. Best wishes all.

Take a boo at Dave Patrick Models. He offers the PA-18 and a clipped wing version. I've seen the PA-18 it is nice!

I had the hanger 9 80" cub and loved it....wore it out, rebuilt and recovered it, and wore it out again..It is down in North Dakota waiting for its third life.. I wore out two landing gear and three sets of tires, and had 3 different engines on it...

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you will have to catch up.

I have the Hangar 9 Cub but am not a total scale enthusiast so hesitated to reply. It flew well off land and was converted to floats early in it's life. It's now flying with a ASP 80 Four Stroke changed from the ASP 61 FS that it originally had. It's a great model and easy to assemble.
