I wish I was, but no. I think I remember seeing at our field a known flying competition guy named Hank Uroda fly a yellow 40% CAP with a 3-blade prop and it was awfully quiet in the air. I would guess he had cans.

Well folks, it's confirmed My friggin custom-made muffler is limiting the engine peak performance. At still 32:1 break-in fuel mix I get 6010rpm with the Mejzlik 27x10 when I ran the engine with no mufflers this evening. I thought my ears would be ringing after the test but they were not .

Gotta get those cans now!

I don't have the postage from Germany recorded. It wasn't much. I'm sure Krumsheid would quote. Delivery was a couple of weeks and customs was $5 brokerage from Canada Post, plus of course GST. UPS into Canada is insane unless you go 2nd day air, where they eat the brokerage. Might be OK on something this light.
