Hi Dig It, I think you should really check your rpm first. Without knowing this, we're just guessing at the problem. The more I think of it, the ex duct is likely the problem, but if you're not getting rpm, well you should work on this first before doing a bunch of other mods.
As I mentioned earlier, with a weight of 12 lbs., this one should fly.
As others have mentioned, when you do get it off the ground, hold it level for a bit to get more speed up, then climb gradually.
Do let everyone know how you make out! It will be great to have another jet flyer on Rccanada!
