I use Paypal for most of my online purchases, but I always use my credit card. I never leave cash in my Paypal account. Paypal tries to not give you your money back, so I file a claim with my credit card company (Visa usually), and they reimburse me immediately. I believe they try to get the money from Paypal and/or the seller.

I bought a new KX250 a few years ago and it was stolen after two rides. I lost $7000. The thieves moved a bunch of stuff in the shed and I followed it up with a little work on my own. The police were very sympathtic and thats about all. No real effort was made on their part. They could have dusted for prints(there surely was some), they could have followed up on my leads.

After speaking with the investigating officer it was pretty clear how frustrated they are with the legal system. If they put in the effort and catch the guy he won't be punished anyway. I could understand stealing food maybe, but toys? Would you put yourself in personal danger aprehending people to have them released by Judges who don't have the will (read balls) to enforce sentences that already exist?

I'm sorry about the loss and I wish you well in recovering your money. I think the best we can hope for is that Little Ashole experiences some bad Karma. If you guys in Regina have been keeping up, watch for this guy.
A new KX 250 that sucks A$$. I have never had a bike stolen but I had a brand new Bell helmet walk after 1 ride. People who steal other guys toys should face punishment from those they stole it from
