The module is sold. Thanks RCC!
This is the Futaba type "TP" module, FP-TP-FM 72
72 MHz Channel 39 RF module for Futaba. Fits 5U, 7U, 8U, 9C series and others newer radios. (Maybe 7C too?) NOT 9Z or 9V
I have received my 9CAP radio. I am trying to reduce my radio inventory. Because all of my planes are on a different channel than this transmitter and more than one channel, I am purchasing the synthesized module for it. So I have a Futaba FP-TP-FM transmitter RF module on Channel 39 available. This radio and module are essentially new.
For reference, a new RF module from Greathobbies/Hobbywholesale is listed at $70+txs.
Check the manual for your radio or contact Futaba for confirmation. I am certain this module works with many of the other newer radios too. However, I do have this information from Futaba regarding the TP module compatibility.
The TP, the module used in all 5U, 7U, 8U and 9C series radios (these radios all use the identical module) can not be used in place of TK for 9V and 9Zs. The 9V and 9Z use a special module designed specifically for the unique environment within its case. The use of the TP module in the 9Z may cause damage to the module and/or radio, and also voids your radio's warranty.
However, the 9v/9Z module (TK) CAN be used in the radios which normally use the TP without any difficulty whatsoever.
