I am supposed to be meeting up with John in the morning tomorrow,. I have left the final details until tonight unfortunately and I do not have any contact information for him other than through RCC. I have PM'ed him tonight with my phone number but I am concerned he might not check RCC or his emails tonight. If someone could call him to let him know that I need to speak to him tonight that would be great.

Please let me know if you have called him. That way I can put my mind at ease knowing he will get in touch with me.

Ted John doesn't have many friends. We have been trying to pawn him off on someone for years but with no luck so when you posted this everyone is tripping over each other to link you two up. Who knows maybe we can even convince him to move to Milton eh!!!!!!!!!!

Imagine how many responses we would get if we had a chance to pawn Dennis off.

But them who could John dress like at our meetings? I guess we have to keep you both.

Welcome to the year 2006, where a guy has to shout out to an international communittee to find a guy that lives within blocks of his house.

The weirder thing is I have his number, but could bump into him on a street and never know who he was. And I'm on the other side of the country. Just seems kinda funny

The maiden went well. The conditions were bad enough had I brought my plane I would not have flown it. But John decidedto maiden his in those conditions a brave move indeed. The plane flys very well, seemed a little tail heavy. John did a few curcuits and then brought it in for a landing. He had a side wind lift the left wing just as he touched down and the plane came to rest on the right wing tip and the right float. A bit of paint repair and some landing gear repairs and all is well. I managed to get 213 photos of the plane and will post a few when I get a chance, but not now as I just got home from a stag and I was up at 5:30am this morning to head out to Leamington for the maiden...I am a bit tired. It was well worth the drive though, I had a great time and met some great guys.
