Sid's Ponds and hobbies,
Well this is what we've all been waiting for. I full time offroad track that's not in the boonies. That's right and it's only 30 minutes from toronto.
This weekend will be an open invitation for ELECTRIC only Rc buggies to come and enjoy the first step of the track. We will be running on a turf track (extremely short grass for the time being) until the dirt is available.
we'll be meeting at Sid's ponds and hobbies on Sunday May 28th from 1pm to 6pm. at the corner of Britiannia and 9th line in north west Mississauga.
here's an aerial photo of the spot. it's between the office and Britiannia just next to their mini put golf course.
the track will be 100' x 60' with lane widths of between 7' to 8' feet. it will accomodate 1/18 and 1/10 electric buggies.
let us know if you're comming by leaving your email address in the forum. there will be no charge for this sunday as the track is at its final stages yet.
all questions will be answered through this email address,
this day only will have a free practice and as the official track prepares itself, then we'll be charging a fair price for use and RACES!!!!
don't call the location as they are a garden supply centre. email any questions to the above email address.
thanks and we'll see you out on Sunday afternoon after church right?
