ya so i was out bashing wit my HPI Nitro Rush but couldnt get any top speed, the engine would rev but no speed i know tat the engine is tuned correctly...i think tat the problem is my spur gear because wen i had brought my car into the shop n gave it bak to me the nut was not screwed in so i tried playing wit it but i have no idea how much i screw it in

if its anything like the savage your suppose to tighten it up all the way and then back off half a turn try that if that doesn't work tighten it up all the way if that doesn't work then its your motor

I had something like that happen to me today, make sure the rear wheels are tightened all the way, or it'll rev, but have low power, and go really slow

also check to see if their is any binding .. my motor vibrated loose and it was making weird noises and had no go at all on the top
