folding props

I am fairly new to electric planes. I have just gotten a world model Spitfire EP. This plane comes with an outrunner 28/30 (km0283010) motor. The manufacturers supply a folding prop with this. I am having a hard time finding information out about folding props. The thing that bothers me is when the prop is mounted it folds back along the fuselage fine but it also goes forward a little past the point where they would be inline with each other (as a normal prop is). Can any one point me in the towards an information source about folding props, or tell me if this is normal.

If you want a second opinion... Yup. Perfectly normal for the reason cited above.
