World Models Spitfire 60 size.

Hi there.

I am finally finishing my Spitfire which I bought last Christmas as a present to myself...

It is all together but seem to be having difficulties getting the CG right.

Has anyone had any experience with this model? The book says 100mm back from the LE at the fuse. Even with a fair amount of weight the tail is still quite low.

I have a Saito 100 on the front with a wood (Zinger) prop.

I will be taking it to the field later this week to seek knowledge!

If you have any experience flying it please let me know, I am quite nervous now!

Move your battery and receiver as far forward as possible, if thats not enough try using an aluminum or brass spinner.

The battery is as far forward as it can go, the receiver is stuck where it is. The battery is actually sitting on top of the fuel tank.

better yet put a spacer between motor mount and firewall to move the engine forward if possible or go with a bigger heavier battery
