Well after a year of sitting on the bench because I wasn't ready to fly yet. I figured my piloting skills needed some work. I finally maidened my Airwild Edge 540T 35%. I put a 3W106 in and 8611's all around. The maiden was uneventful and came back to earth in one peice. I need to make some adjustments on engine thrust lines but all in all it flies well. Now I can take a deep breath and really start to fly this thing. Giant scale rules.

Congrats on your successful flight This is a ver y good looking plane (slightly envious!)

I just maidened my 30% (or so) Red Bull Edge with its ZDZ 100NG and it feels so good to get that one out of the way doesn't it?
Flew flights 3,4 last night and now getting very excited as it tracks true, rolls on a dime and flies BIG!
Take your time trimming it out, and have fun

Sweet plane. I look forward to seeing at the IMAC event in Kelowna aug 26, 27. With a plane like that it would be silly not attend

Well, It's starting to really fly nicely. I flew it at the Hope air show this past weekend and looked fantastic with the smoke pouring out in a flat spin over the runway. I will see if the wife got any pics to post.
