Love the digital trim great with model memory and making fine tuned trimming.

No more accidents with the trim levers.

As far as the throttle goes I am a heli flyer aswell so I am used to hitting a kill switch on my electric helis so its not a big deal having no manual trim on the throttle.

Hmm.. it appears everyone thinks they are the greatest thing going

As to the trims being knocked I usually mechanically fix the control rods after the first flight so that I can bring the trims back to center and then its a click or two off center when I fine tune on the second flight and every flight after is a quick glance to see that they are not way off center

Never had more than one rx per tx so I haven't experienced the model change problem but I do know my P4000 tells me if the trims are not set as they were when that model memory was last used same thing when I first turn it on

I'll have to take a closer look at my friends 7CAP to find the increment adjustment as I don't recall seeing such a thing in the manual or when I was learning the menu navigation

All well, to each his own

digital trim switches

I have a futaba 9C . The biggest bug for me is the throttle . On the reg; trim I can feel where the trim is . I usually know that when the main stick & trim right down , eng; will quit , so landing I have trim up say a 1/3rd up from bottom . Whereas with digital , one cannot feel it , it gives a beep apparently when pressed BUT getting older I can't hear it & anyway I am flying & wondering sometimes where the heck the trim is [can't look down while flying eh?] I believe that JR has a reg; trim on throttle , this is a much better idea for my way of thinking . Have too much gear on Futaba to change over guys .

To Hurri;

It won't cost as much to switch over to JR as one crashed airplane. I bit the bullet last year and put 17 planes on my 9303. Sold my Futaba stuff, sold my Airtronics, sold my JR8103.

You are only paying the difference. I now got one transmitter and have all my planes set up on it. What a joy. Grab a plane and go flying. One frequency, one set of charging jacks, one transmitter case. I went for Hitech receivers on the planes that need Rx, so I didn't pay the Big JR price. Futaba plugs right in to the JR stuff. I even set up my Simulator as a plane on my 9303. 30 planes, 9 channels?? this should now last as long as I do.

Best money I have spent so far in the hobby. Just my 2 cents.
