remote needle valve

I am planning the installation of an OS 160FX with perry pump in an ultra RC giles202 and I am considering mounting the remote needle valve at the front former which is about 8 inches back from the carburettor. Should this create problems?
I am also wondering about the position of the tee which takes excess fuel back to the tank( as suggested by Conley and Youngblood). The tee is recommended to be placed very close to the carburettor, however in the case of the remote needle setup should the tee be placed before the needle or before the carburettor inlet?.
Your experiences and comments are appreciated

Not sure what the purpose of the "T" fitting is but aren't Conoley and Youngblood helicopter guys? Excess fuel from what? That OS 1.60 will use ALL of the fuel you give it.
As for needle valve placement.. as long as you keep it horizontally the same as the engine mounted position I don't see a problem. Where are you mounting your Perry Pump? Is it the oscillating type or pressure fed off the backplate?
