I just recieved my new cycler Elite WOW What a tool . If I would of had this 20yrs ago , batterys would have said thanks . It s really is easy to understand and program . I ve only had it a little under 24 hrs and I ve already asked myself why I didn t buy it sooner , ( the real answer is I didn t have the funds ) . It really does take the worry out if knowing if youre batterys are in shape . The only part that I don t understand is the peak detection sensitivity mV , I have absolutly no idea what this is used for . I figer I will learn what it is about when I do a little more reading . I also picked up the MK II , voltage meter , this is also a very handy tool , it helps . But the cycler I m , really , really glad that I have it . Slowly I m getting all the important tools that I need . And a lot of this information , that I have recieved , is because of RC Canada

Thanks Guys to all that helped

I don't mess with the peak detection settings. I think it would be important if you needed to get 100% duration out of a charge. The only other time it would make a difference is if it was overcharging, but I've never had a problem. I've charged some pretty sick looking batteries, and never adjusted the peak detection.

I have the Triton, and the Accucycle. I prefer the Accucycle for ease of use, but the Triton does higher current on the lipos, and lead acid.

The Triton stays at home. the Accucycle lives in my truck, and I use it at the field.
