This is the 81" span fabric covered J-3 which is shown on the Great Hobbies site at http://www.greathobbies.com/products...od_id=GPMA1310
It has a new OS FS 70 Surpas II (not yet broken in and only about 20 minutes flight time), two Hitec 425BB aileron servos, a combo switch/charge jack, and a Great Planes fuel filler valve.
I ground looped it on take off (first flight -- bummer!), and slightly damaged the underside of the stbd wing tip, and the aileron servo tray on that side. The hinges were also pulled out of the wing struts so when I repaired them I used 1/8" wood dowel to pin them in place. The wing tip and servo tray repairs were done but I just taped the covering rather than recover the affected parts. I can provide photos of the repaired areas on request.
I've flown the plane a couple of times since but it's just not my cup of tea (too slow and not aerobatic enough), so I'm seling it with or without the engine, and with or without a set of nib Great Planes Sport Floats that I bought seperately but never installed.
The Sport Floats can be seen at http://www.greatplanes.com/accys/gpmq1882.html
The plane cost $ 264.99 + accessories + taxes and I will sell it for $ 135.00 delivered to the GTA next time I go there.
The engine cost $ 250 + taxes and I will sell it for $185. + postage for delivery outside the GTA area.
The Sport Floats cost $ 110 + taxes and I will them nib for $85. delivered to the GTA.
Take the whole package for $ 375

Was there damage to the windshield also? Why is the windshield solid gray and not clear plastic?

J-3 Windows & Canopy
It didn't want to finish the interior, and I didn't like the look of it, so I painted the inside of the canopy & windows with some Testor's silver-grey dope that I had.
Here's another picture also so you can see the side windows are also painted.
While I'm at it, here's a pic of the engine also.

A heck of a deal; I just wish I'd seen it sooner. I would have been all over it like a tent! Anything happens it doesn't pan out, I want to know.
( I can dream, can't I?)
