Has anyone out there run one of the RCV 58 fore stokes yet?And if so how do you like it and how well does it run? Is it gear noisey like the RCV 60/90/120?
Any feed back would be great.I'm thinking of using two in my royal b-25.

I bought one and was not impressed with it. Couldn't get it to spin up any where near what it should have and couldn't get it to idle down worth a darn.
I contacted RCV in England and they had me send it to their repair depot in the US which I did. Their results matched mine and they couldn't get it to work any better. They sent me another one but I still didn't think it was very good.
Yes, it is noisy but that didn't bother me at all.
I admit, I haven't used this motor very much because after going through all this I happened to get interested in other things instead of RC so I don't really know if it really needed more breakin or what.
channel38 ( on FM anyway ) lol
