At next years Okanagan Scale Aerobatic challenge I hope to have a few of our American friends up. We will probably be running a freestyle class. If we do, I want to make an ass of myself.
The question:
what is a good percentage of 3d and precision maneuvers?
(30% 3d 70% precision?)
I am asking now because I want to start figuring a routine soon.

I don't think theres any set rule or % of what you should do, but more of what will showcase what YOU can do best. Go for nice transitions from smooth and precise to all out 3D. Also the WOW factor is key.

Just my $0.02.

Weather the day of the Freestyle will play a big part so be able to adapt.

At the Chatham Can-AM IMAC the wind was about 25 - 30 k so not much 3D can be done safely like hovering. Practice two routines... 1 for calm day, another for windy..or opt out if too windy!
