I'm glad you enjoyed Duxford. I was surprised at how small the cabin on the Concord was when I went through it, but impressed with the test equipment they had on board. I liked the idea of having dummies showing how people would be working on the aircraft. I managed to pick up a Mosquitoe mug, book and a couple of tie tacks when I was there.

Hendon, MUST see!

I stood transfixed in front of that Typhoon for 15 minutes before I finally began taking pictures, with thoughts of all those brave, brave guys that flew that beast. I still have my copy of The Big Show by Clostermann in which he describes his exploits and the hazards offlying the Typhoon... man...

And please don't miss Shuttleworth. The great thing about Britain is that most of the places are close to wherever you are, and it is startling to talk to natives there who have never driven the 40 miles, or taken the tube to see these amazing exhibits.

The Science Museum is another day of being awestruck, with the S6B beside the Schneider Cup, Whittle's first jet, Alcock & Brown's Vimy, oh, on and on it goes.

What a place; man I am envious. I would go again in a heartbeat!

I may have to go back in 5 weeks or so, so I'll keep looking for places to visit. I will also try to hide $200 so I can go up in the tiger moth

In theory, everything works.
