With regards to these two airplanes, would the Hitec Universal Flight Packs, with the HS-425BB servos suffice? Or do these airplanes generate too much torque for these servos? If so, what HITEC servos do you recommend?

I've had both of these planes and they both work well with standard servos. I'm currently flying the Twist Plug N Play which comes with standard JR NES-537 servos. I've never had servo failure with either plane while performing extreme snaps, spins, rolls or 3D flying.

I'll second the 425's in those planes. I have grown to like them (only them) you'll be fine!

I have had those servos on 2 seperate profiles (same set of servos) so they have been abused for probably 500+ flights and they are awesome. One reccomendation might be to step up to 6V's. I think they come alive when you throw in some more volts. Faster and more torque. You might also want to get some of dubros HD plastic composite arms. They work great.

and on the extra, use a couple extra bands on the j-hooks that hold the wings on. Or use a zip tie every flight.

Ask me how I know
