We have a full commercial Adobe here at work but Voyager is right. The ability to print these darn things comes in at Version 7, or you need that other program called Adobe inDesign.

So now I'm looking for somekind of shareware that will print Tiled PDF's. Or may an upgrade plug-in for the Adobe Reader.

I can do it in Adobe Illustrator. Tested it, and it works.

I think we have that. I'll have to check what machine it's on.

Open all your tiles.

Open a new sheet large enough for your tiles.

Copy and paste all tiles to the new page.

Save as PDF.

Oh Geez, that's a nightmare! These plans are pretty big. I'm sure the proper way is to just find the right shareware that will rebuild some 35 or so pages into one, and print out the full size plan. And that's just 1 of 4 PDF files!

How big are the tiles and how big are the plans?

A4 goes into A0 in a 4x4 grid, 16 tiles/sheet is what I expected per page.

Letter goes into ANSI E in a 4x4 grid as well, 16 tiles/page as well.

Those are the most common sizes. I've never drawn larger than ANSI E or A0, 36 inches was the max. width for our printer.
