I received my co-pilot today with no gst or other charges. Came by mail with the info and price on the outside. It also had model aircraft parts on the package. Made me happy when I signed for it.
I paid a bit extra ($252 US) but the postal was $19 so I can not complain. I also purchased 2 crystals and extra cables for letting me install it in different aircraft. I am going to install it in my Q1000 with the Homelite 46 for testing and learning the setup procedure. I was also surprised at the size of the components which are small and the reciever is smaller than my Futaba's.
The reason for buying is to fly at our location and monitor for glitch's as it has up to 97 minutes for reading on the pc. Two years ago I lost 3 aircraft from interferance a 1/2 mile from our current location. There was a beam(radio) about 75 feet above ground just off our runway that was parallel with the strip. This was in the Spring as we found out later they installed a dish over the winter. In stead of losing 3 aircraft I may have only lost one. Would have paid for itself on the first one.
When the weather clears up I will give an update on what I find and if I have any problems with likes or dislikes.
