Hi everyone

I got myself a Futaba 9cap a couple months ago and have not flown anything with it ,I am still working on the plane I will use it for, But the other day a old feller from my field told me that channel 35 is no good and it picks up all sorts of interferance and will glitch! I have never heard of this ,has anyone heard of this? Should I take it back before I install it ! I don't know so any knowledge on 35 as a trouble frequncey would be appreciated! I don't want to loose a bird to a radio if it can be avoided!

What he is likely telling you is from experience they have found there to be alot of RF "noise" in your area around the Ch35 frequency.

It certainly has nothing to do with the quality or reliability of the radio. I would take his advice and change channel to a "noiseless" one.

I've heard that some welding machines can cause interference with channel 35. Is there a possibility that there may be welding going on around your field?
