Glue at the Onslaught

Guys,
I can't make it (or my camera either) to this one...

I got a good deal on Gorilla brand polyurethane glue. (you know how corro is best built with PU glue!)

Anyway, Ted B. ("Dogfight", of combat newsletter writing fame) is taking the last few bottles up for me to offer to those of you going to this meet.

Here's the deal:
18 oz bottle of Gorilla glue for $25. ( Just 8oz at Home Depot will run you $20.84)

So at $25 for 18 oz it's a great deal for this stuff. I'm not doing this for profit, and our Cobblehills guys are now set. It was ordered in , so it is not old stock from somewhere, and will have a looong shelf life, but I must sell it. There are only a few bottles left, so get to Ted as soon as you see him.

Have a good day on Sunday!!

Onslaught Update...

Eric and Bill,

Too bad. I'm looking for a 'mild mannered reporter who...' can hopefully post some pictures here on RCC.

Jeff,
I'll bring my Spad 7 cowl plug. It will do a spad 13 too. I'll bring what plans I have. We can make a deal on the Hurricane.

Thanks to Pat at Maac HQ and SEZD Bob Hudson for the last minute sanction #. Hope you can make it on Sunday Bob.

Cobble Hills Fighter Group are ready for the road trip. Humber Hawks are ready to defend the skies over 'Death Valley'.

Weather Channel still looks good. (For a Nov. 12th)

More details to follow...

Take care,
Have fun,

OoO Update

Hi All,

Everything is all set.

Rough time schedule:
9-10 test flying
10- 12 WW1
12- (usually around 3:30) WW2

Weather will be 'brisk'. I'm dressing warmly.

Humber Valley field Steeles and Kipling. (Can anyone post the link to the Humber website?)

Spectators welcome.

Richard 'da Siver Fox' the Toronto R/C Club will be bringing some 'Caution' kits, and hopefully a lunch demo. (Sorry for the last minute call Richard ! ! !)

Safe journeys everyone.

It's gonna be fun...

Take care,
Have fun,

P.S. A camera crew from the Weather Channel might be showing up to do a spot on outdoor weather dependant events...

Great contest

Thanks Dave, Dan and others who made this contest happen. I had a great time flying. Prizes were very plentiful. To the sideliners, you missed a great time. Now all I have to do is get a ww1 bird. Looking for a coro bird.

Congrats to Bryan Mailloux...first WWII and Jeff Treumner.....first WWI. Good job Dave Fallowfield (organizing and prizes), Dan Paluzzi (logistics, food), myself (more prizes, more food). Only about 10 pilots this time but the thrills were still top notch. It was nice to see our zone director, Bob Hudson, helping out in the pitts and enjoying the WWI action. Richard Staron brought some of his .15 size slow combat models. I bought an Enigma kit and Dan bought a Caution kit. I expect others in our club will want to try Richard's "no stress" formula for club class combat in 2007.
