Triton Backlight retrofit

For those interested, I just finished installing a very nice fluorescent strip backlight kit for my Triton charger that I bought from a nice chap off of eBay. It was less than $30Cdn (including S & H).
It wasn't too hard to install, but does require some skill (If your squeamish about opening up and modifying electronics, this is NOT for you as one of the main steps is separating the LCD from its electronic carrier board). The kit came with a very well laid out instruction manual complete with step by step pictures. It took me about 45 minutes start to finish. The seller does warn, and rightly so, that this WILL void your warranty (and is an easy way to destroy your Triton if you don't know what your doing).
I had always had trouble reading the display since where I use the charger indoors is not greatly lit, but now, no problem !
I have no affiliation with this person, just passing on my experience for those that might be interested. If so, use eBay's Advanced Search and search for user hobikit under Find items by seller then click on the View Sellers Items button. There's a picture of the before and after in his listing and it's available in three colours.
My planes gotta be up there somewhere....
