Thunder Tiger GP40 Help

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
I have an old GP40, I bought second hand (for cheap). That has a bent needle assembly.

Is I possible to buy just the need and the air/fuel connecting piece? (Sorry I dont know the proper name). The motor is the same as the OS FP 40. I have found on Tower Hobbies an entire new carb (OS #3a) for for $26 US.

I only need the needle assembly. I have not been able to find any Thunder Tiger parts for this motor yet, but I read on a forum, that the Magnum GP, and the OS FP are the same engine.

Any help would be appreciated.

Wow Replying to myself... Hmm.

Anyways, 2 seconds after posting this question I found my own answer for the OS 3a212 needle assembly.

Still would like a part actually ment for the Thunder Tiger though, But I think i will order this part and try it out.

Needle Valve.

Hey why not try calling say Great Hobbies or Hobbywholesale. Both Canadian companies. Plus they are not going to charge you and arm and a leg to ship. Think Tower hobbies will charge at least $8 if a member or about $18 if not, plus in US funds. Call either Great hobbies or Hobby wholesale. Both should be able to help you out.
