So I need to know how good this simulator is, and whats the best route to go to upgrade my computer to run this thing. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.
I too received this sim for xmas. runs just fine on my toshiba laptop dual processor. it's the first time I've ever been able to run any of the microsoft sims without choppy frame rates.

forget my notebook specs, but it's dual core with geforce card and I think a gig of ram.

runs the sim smoothly at full graphics. I'm running xp.
Papa Sharptooth

Bouncing about the living room, my then three year old grandson declared himself "a kangaroo".
"If you're a Kangaroo, what is Grampie", I ask.
His reply: "you a dinosaur"

I'm running the basic version with some add-on aircraft. I think I downloaded that Grumman Goose (I love that plane!!!! ) from or from ? I just downloaded the FSX SP1 to see what difference it makes. I'm amazed how well the on-board graphics cip set handles the graphics. With the dualcore support now it should get better.
