Very sorry to hear this bad news. Hopefully it was a charged purchase and Visa/Mastercard will cover the theft. Our club will keep an ear open for any such sales or offers.

Polks not that common here so spotting ads should prove easier.

She beat him to death with a crow bar. Or maybe she just yelled at him. I can't remember.
Criminals and other lowlife have rights you know. What makes you think you can protect your property like this?

If you catch someone in your house and decide to do something to him/her, unfortunately they can sue you and win if they are still breathing. Insane yes, but I've heard of too many cases where that has happened. You can protect you life, but not your property.

If someone attacks you in your own home, you are allowed to shoot them, only once, and only if you tell them they are under arrest first. If you're a good shot, you can always say that you said "you're under arrest" first, because they won't be around to contradict you. If you shoot them more than once, you're using excessive force.

Or so I've heard. Somebody is going to find this on Snopes or something and contradict me.

I've heard of such cases and was told by a buddy of mine;if you catch the thief in your house beat him/her up within an inch of their life and wait until you can drag their ass out to the main road somewhere away from your place. Then go home and wait or call the police annonomasly to say their has been an accident.

Then sit back with a good feeling that you saved the neighbourhood from further robberies as well as other feelings.

When I was in the middle east our standing orders where the first one at them yelling halt and fire the second in the air. Our cook got carried away one night and was sitting on top of a Ferret. All we heard was stop you sob and he fired a belt at him. Not a scratch but I bet he wouldn't be back.
