Smoke Oil

Micman, I've been doing a little research on smoke systems. I'm looking to put something into my Goldberg Ultimate 10-300 that I'am currently building. I came across a homebrew mixture of 2 parts diesel, 1 part transmission fluid.
I also came across this alternative smoke system, for just about any type of aircraft. Different colours etc. with little extra weight and no residual oil to clean up.

re colored smoke

The colored smoke system is interesting, I like the option of being able to turn the smoke off and on. The sullivan smoke system is awesome it just took a little while to work out the bugs. I would send pics but it has been foggy for the last five days, not only would you not see the smoke but not the plane either .
I am waiting to try a mixture of concrete release mix next time I fly. will post again here when that happens, and how well that worked.
The worst day flying is better then the best day working!!

Just remember when you use that home brew stuff that somebody will be breathing the fumes...I'm not sure how well transmission fluid goes with lung tissue......
