AeroGlass Cowls

Hi all, Happy New Year! I thought that I would replace the kit supplied ABS cowl for my GP extra 300s with a one piece glass cowl from aeroglass in Langton Ont., but they seem to be history, is there somewhere else that I can get one? :

The website says they are closed. I did order a couple from my LHS, and they came from Aeroglass. So maybe he is only dealing with the hobby shops now.

If you need a cowl, try calling, maybe he is just trying to avoid the international orders, as I'm sure alot of goods get damaged in transport, and cause a lot of headaches.

Please let us know what you find.

Maybe it is his way of just dealing with people. If you had to go 100 miles to the LHS he would sell you one at the going rate. At the same time he did not want to compete with LHS's. Maybe he is just not selling direct in a non direct way. The business was for sale a while ago. It may be changing hands or maybe he has just closed up. His parts are first rate. are West Systems epoxy parts. Also first rate but a little more expensive than Steves to your door. Steves Aeroglass were ophthalic polyester resin last time I asked him.

Aeroglass is still in business!!! Steve says he doesn't even have a computer so it is unlikely he has a website. The site that is closed was in the states somewhere. So if you need something give him a call and he will be happy to help you.
