Winter Break-in?

I was just wondering if it was ok to break-in a new buggy during winter temps. I can understand not to run in too cold of weather but what about between 0 and -10. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

break in

Three years ago I broke in a new Savage 25 in febuary in about those temps. First tank I ran in the shop and after that went outside in the snow for the rest of the break in. I just covered the head up to limit air flow( you will have to experiment with amount to cover up to stay within temp range). I had no problem with the engine and got approx. 15 gallons of fuel through it before it gave out.

Just my experience hope this helps

baby socks work great to cover the head...just cut a small hole for your ignitor...i also find that wrapping the metal duct tape around the bottom couple fins keeps heat at the plug
