Hi gang, I'm thinking of trying the new tech A123 cells, and was wondering if anyone is using them, and what charger is being used?
Comments pro or con, and any observations will be gratefully recieved.

TP1010C now has an update that includes A123s and also in a month or so, will includer NiXX. Very nice charger and is nice to have it talk to the balancer for safety.

If you have an Astro 109 lipo charger it can be tweeked (switch and a couple of resistors) to work with both A123 and lipo cells.

I also understand Astro is releasing a new charger or firmware chip for the existing charger very soon. They are also releasing an A123 blinky (balancer)

If you are interested in a link for the conversion lmk

Has anyone found a Canadaian source for the A123?
All Electronic components contain SMOKE. Once you let the smoke out, they stop working

I'm using a Schulze 330D to charge my a123 10 cell packs. Does the job for now.

No definite canadian source for bare cells that I have heard of at the moment.

I'm crossing my fingers too.
