I have picked up a one inch wing tube but now i need a sleeve.
Any tips on how to fabricate a F/G sleeve would be appreciated.

I have made them for lots of things. What I use is the fiberglass roll that is sticky for doing the corners when dry walling. Put about 3 coats of paste wax on the tube then cut a piece of waxed paper that you cover next. One layer will do and you can use tape to hold it. I then wrap glass from one end overlapping layers with the sticky side out and build up how thick you need it. I then mix epoxy and coat the glass. Then I use a heat gun and warm it up so the epoxy penetrates and most of it drips off or gathers on the bottom. That I wipe off and let harden. If you don't wrap it really tight it is not a problem to get off the tube. Later pushing the tube through takes out the wax paper.
