I am looking for scale working cub landing gear. How many options do I have as to who makes them and how much? It is for a Balsa USA 1/4 scale cub.

I have 1/3 scale Cub drawings. Looks pretty high scale. I suppose the landing gear part can be copied off. Send me a pm if interested in doing this.

I have the robart gear on my BUSA cub and am extremely happy with it!
Th BUSA cub is 1/2" wider than the Sig cub, so make sure you get the proper one which ever gear you decide on....

If I'm not mistaken, the Balsa USA 1/3 scale Cub came with detailed plans for the construction of this scale landing gear.

I downsized it to the 1/4 scale and made one using steel brake line tubing sold at Canadian Tire. I used Easy-Flo Silver solder to assemble it. It does take a fair bit of work but the results are fantastic and very scale!

While writing this post, I looked through my files and I found the plans and they are from the Balsa USA 1/3 scale cub. Plans are very detailed. If your interested in making your own gear, let me know and I'll have my plans photo copied and send it out to you! PM me your name and address if you want them.
