Building a new "building table"

Just wondering if anyone has some good ideas to add too my new table that I'm going to build.. I'm retiring my old 4'X8" sit down building table for something newer.. What I was thinking, is a standup island type set up, maybe 3'X6'.. With lots of outlets and drawers.. Was also thinking of putting a sanding section at one end, you know with peg board surface and a shop vac mounted underneath in the cabinet part... I don't know just in the planning stage.... Wouldn't mind seeing some of yours for ideas if you don't mind posting a picture of it.... I'm redoing my building room so figure I need to get rid of this one ( and see my hobby room is a mess so don't feel bad if yours is, in your picture ).....

Hi I have a stand up table in the corner of my shop, concrete floor, make sure you use good floor pad to stand on or back and legs may start to get sore real quick.
My table is 3 and a half by 8, its a little big but okay for my current project. I also have a shelf close for glue, pencils, knives and what not, not very high techie, but simple works for me.
The worst day flying is better then the best day working!!

I'll never construct another craft without my metal building board and magnets.

The island is a great idea. I may have to do that as well

This has been posted before you might want to check out pictures of my building table. I now have 3 of them. By changing the top and connecting the vacuum I have a large sanding table as well.
