'S' is series.

a 800 mah 3S 20C battery is a 3 cell, 800 mah battery with a discharge of 20C. In other tearms, 20X the capacity. Therefor, the amps of that battery is 16,000 mah, or 16 amps.

I'm just using that battery for example because thats what I use in my foamy.
you don't need CNC if you are handy with a torch.

Older lipos may have put up with this, but if you are using newer high discharge batteries (20c - 30c) like the Thunder Power Extremes you will ruin them by running them this low. Even the old standard of 3v per cell is too low. The best thing to do is to see how many mah you are putting back into the battery and adjust your flight time accordingly. Also, running your back down so that it always has at least 20 - 30% of the capacity left in it still will make it last ALOT longer.
