I had a look at the Mini Titan in Hobby Hobby yesterday- the no electronics kit is very reasonably priced.. They told me they only had the 1 in stock, and no plans on getting more or supporting them with parts. Maybe when they become more popular.

Isnt it hard to get parts for the titan though Colin?????

The center of gravity has been raised a fair bit on the titan with it's battery tray alone, not to mention the frames are not very tall which helps too. The belt included with the titan is extremely durable.... I've stuck the tail into the ground at full rpm numerous times and have yet to damage a belt. The titan also has a very high pitch range, which can be utilized with today's powerful motors.

Great Hobbies is showing the Mini Titan in stock on their webpage this morning. So I placed my order. On the way to the "Rock" should be the mini titan kit w/motor and ecs, HS65x3 and a 9650 for the tail. I also ordered a set of 325 CF HeliMax blades for it as well. Never used Helimax blades before don't know what to expect with them. Just hopin' for something better than the stock woodies.

I'll deal with the "spares" issue at a later date....not too soon hopefully!

"Performance" upgrades...

Saw this on RR this morning - from the toy fair. Metal upgrades for the E325. Neat black skids, CF boom and blades too.

Note the blade spacers and the fact that the flybar cage is now two separate arms (odd).

Not sure if the CF boom and blades are part of it though - probably.

Just ordered the same kit with motor and ESC. Now lets see what this little chopper is all about. I've flown a Trex 450S CF edition rock solid little heli. Hope to be equally as impressed with this heli. Just hope part support price is near that of the little REX.
