Lipo balancer questions

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
A few months ago I decided that I would try this new fangled electric stuff. Brain surgery is a walk in the park compared to this. Here is the first of (probably many) questions I have.

I bought a few Apogee battery packs and a PolyQuest battery pack. Without doing a lot of research I recently bought a Thunder Power balancer TP205. The balancer connectors are all different.

My question is, is it better to somehow get adapters so I can connect to the Thunder Power, or should I just get a balancer that fits them and sell the TP? Are there any real differences between one brand of balancer to the next? Why did I buy the TP unit?

Is there a good source for adapters?

Thanks for your help.

Nothing wrong with TP205 balancer.
You will need adaptors to connect to the 205. Now don't get discouraged, in your course, you will buy different brands of Lipo and sadly all the manufacturers put their own plug.

Draganfly does have some adaptors, but for some others you might have to look elsewhere.

TP205 is an excellent ballancer.
Try Hobby Hobby and A&J Hobbies, they may have the adapters on hand.
