Anyone want to comment on the quality of Cermark ARF's. Thinking about the new F16 Prop jet. And is there a dealer in Canada.

Cermark sucks to put it in simple terms.

I has 2 of their cobalt motors run into serious quality problems. The equivalent Astro never gave problems.

What burned me is I turned one of them over the the Cermark rep with all my information. All I ask is to get a working motor. Never heard from the rep and never even got the broken motor back. They kept my money and my motor.

When a company treats their customers in such a manner, don't expect any positive feedback.

Don't mean to hijack the thread. Just giving some background to the company practices.

On Cermarks defence

I have purchased a number of items from them and have always had good service!!
They shipped me a composite glider that when it arived the fuse had split in two and after notifing them they shipped out another fuse with no fuss.

As far as the quality of the models: I was quite happy with the attention to detail.

They make it difficult to do business with if you live outside the US. I would really like to get another Phoenix, but it is just about impossible.

Watch their pricing too... they tend to slash and dash when product is not moving...soemthing you pay $200 for today may sell for $100 six months later..

I ordered the F-16 prop jet but not from cermark, from Extreme Hobby in Red Deer. It took a while, I'll admit. Cermark had all sorts of excuses and back order problems but the guys at Extreme are awesome and are now setup to deal with Cermark. I'd order from them. It might take a bit to get it but trust me, once you get it you won't be disapointed. I haven't flown it yet but it went together really nice and looks great.

Hey Buddy, thats a Kadet not an Extra!!!

"Slash and dash"? I guess they are allowed to charge whatever prices they want? Scandalous! Lets have them all shot!

I have purchased items from Cermark and they were very easy to deal with. I called them up and placed my order (long nose spinners, and a F16 propjet). I worked with them to find the best shipper and price that fit, and the F16 arrived in top notch shape. Bottom line is that I had choices when it came to shipping, and they were pretty accommodating.

Best advice I can give is to just call them with your order. The shipping on the F16 was fairly reasonable, as I remember.

Oh great are the days when my takeoffs equal my landings!!!
