landing gear

       Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
I have a 40 sized main gear but the holes for the axles are about 9mm wide
seems like too big of a hole for any ordinary axle what do I do?

Greeting

The diameter of the axel is too small for the wheel center right ?

If thats the case , you could use brass tubing and make bushings for the proper diameter , you could pick that up at youre LHS , or


If the wheel is too wide for the axel would you be able too soulder a washer on the end . There are other remedys

Dubro makes a few axle shafts that fit a 5/16" dia hole.
Part No. ..... Axle Dimensions
247 ............ 1-1/4" x 5/32 dia
248 ............ 2" x 5/32" dia
249 ............ 2" x 3/16" dia
