Higher preformance motor for the Byro-fan

I have been reading some of the threads at RCGroups.com from Bob Bruff's Byro-fan nitro to electric conversion using the Hacker A50-14S 10 Pole brushless motor but then I have heard that it will not be anything to brag about. I have a Hacker on order to try but I would love to see what is out there that would make this 6" Byro-Fan spin faster at around 30,000 RPM which I believe should get it moving. Does anyone think a Kohler Actro Heli motor might do it? Say the "Actro 32-3" Spec's being 3000watts, 555 Rpm/Volt, 45,000 Max RPM, 4-Pole Outrunner. or a Kontronic Tango 45-08 or a Plettenberg A300/30/A3 or the A300/25/A3, man there is so many motors to choose from that it would cost me way to much to try and test them all. Please guys, Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I think that you were better off on the Ezone as far as leading edge EDF stuff.

I have a Yellow F-4 that I am converting to an EDF and am also awaiting a little better performance than the Byron fan can offer...it is a good fan but I think that a high pitch fan is in order for a better top end, unfortunately that means higher amps as well
