walkera #4 for a newbie

I just received my Walkera #4 last Friday and tried it out in the gym on Saturday where we fly indoors throughout the winter. For a first time heli pilot, I am very happy with the performance of this little heli. I have done some flying on the sim, which I am sure has helped me out considerably, and to my delight, not one real crash yet!! I have been practicing in my basement also, and the hover is pretty good for a this cheap little gem.
It flew right out the box, hands off hover for 2 seconds, and other than my lack of experience, I am sure there is some nice flying in the heli. For the price you pay for these heli's, I would recommend it to anyone. If I can fly it, anyone can. The parts are cheap, readily available, and are shipped in no time. Just wanted to put in my two cents worth, since I really enjoy this site, and really enjoy flying my new heli. I am definitely hooked on this hobby, and already looking into something a little bigger and better. Any suggestions out there??? I was thinking the Axe CP, since it is RTF, 250.00 Can., and parts are available.

Yeah, spring is coming and you will want a gasser for outside soon enough. For $250, that is real enough unless you insist on the famous Raptor for a bit more!

yeah you're right. I don't know if I should stay electric, or go for a small gasser. Anyway you look at it, it's money, and a real addiction already.
