r/c tv.....my 2 cents

Its great to see a tv show about our favorite hobby, but man I cant over something about it. Theres a race segment Ive seen on a few different episodes where the one guy racing throws a fit almost everytime. If they are trying to deter new people from getting into racing theyre doing a great job. If a person cant have fun in a certain hobby its time to go elsewhere!
What do you think.........?

Hey All.

I feel the same about that segment of the show. At times it looks like it's set up and the guy is just acting but as you mention, it's not a positive image for this great hobby of ours. Mind you I get pretty frustrated trying to get my T-Maxx purring just right too but not to the point of throwing things or slamming my truck.

And yelling at track marshals cuz they didn't flip his car over and back on course fast enough? C'mon, can you be a bigger Weiner?

This has been the way of RC car racing for over twenty years.

When I was racing, there was a guy who shouted at the marshals before his son's car crashed!

He even threated a marshal at a race. Way to embarrass your son dood!

It was on the Outdoor Life Network (OLN) but I don't think it's on anymore. I have it programmed into my PVR but I haven't seen a new episode in weeks.

More advertising and promo stuff than anything without any real usable content. But what can you do in a limited time frame. I found the segments on the Do your own channel much better done. Much better trained commentators who refrain from abrupt gestures at the camera.

Only my opinion,
Dennis

I spent all day Saturday with Nic and Nic, and I can tell you this. they do the "RC" side of things show because they love radio control themselfs.. there main money is FishTV not RC..though if some of the na sayers want to advertise and help them out I am sure it make there life alot easier

There alot of good stuff going to be aired this fall.but I am gonig to keep you all in the dark

Nic trying to get me to show up on sunday at a race to check out 1/8 gasers .. but but..they dont have wings <G>
