How about in Kansas? If it's going round and round the pole do they stay on the ground?
Pilots in Kansas have been seen tapping their heels together on approach and chanting, "There's no place like home"

I wasn't whining about the wind. I only stated what happened. Sure sometimes the wind can get interesting around here but no big deal. Yes it is windier on the prairies but as most know the prairies are flat. Our field is in an odd little valley in the hills 1500ft above Kelowna that used to be a creek channel so the wind comes over the top of the hill behind us and also at 90 degrees down the channel at the same time. No big deal, but sometimes challenging.

Hi Russ

If the wind stays the same speed and the same direction and people have problems, then it's toy cars for them.
We will test you with some variable cross wind on the black top,no letting the wheels slide.

Started with nothing, got most of it left

Good one Ron LOL!!!

I thought that Rogers and Hammerstein had it right though. It's the state of Oklahoma that has the most wind. It says so right in their song titled Oklahoma.

Too quote a line from their song:

"Oklahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain" ta da ta da.

Do any of you guys remember that music or is everyone scratching their heads wondering what the f--k is he talking about? Or words to that effect anyway
