Can anyone suggest an Esc to use with a 2200 Mah Li-po and
an E-filte Park 480 BL Outrunner Motor? Will be using 4 Micro Servos
but I don't know what the current draw from the servos are.
I will also be using a Berg 7P Receiver. Flying weight to be approx 880g.
Looking for decent 3D performance.
I see the the motor manufacturer specs an Esc between 25 and 40 Amps. It a 40 Amp necessary? There seems to be little weight difference between the options.
Also, some Esc's claim a Bec output of between 1.5 to 3 Amps.
Is getting the 3 Amp one a good idea, or is less O.K.
I have been considering a GWS 35 Amp with 3 Amp Bec.
Please can you give me some feedback.

I think you would be safer with 35A and up ESC for that motor. I own the same motor and I think if you only used a 20A or 25A it may burn out the ESC prematurely as the motor will take 25A bursts. This would depend on how many C your battery is as well. You might be safe with a 10C pack on a 25A ESC, but if it was a higher C rating it might not be able to take it but still I probably wouldn't risk my investment. I certainly think you will get good 3D out of that setup as that motor will fly up to 990gr scale park flyers. Someone more experienced can likely tell you more.
