Hi Gary, ok.

Eicas, We have been looking at the forecast, it has been changing around so much in the last few days. We decided to put Pete(RcMan) in a indian attire and do a "Rain Go Away Dance" Lets see what happens

I am also tyring to get Angus our CT rep. to get an order on a tarp to cover the leamington airport, but he said there might be a problem with shipping 50 acres of tarp, lol

Cya all soon, have a safe trip down here to the most southern part of Canada.

I would like to thank the dedicated sponsors and pilots who came from all over to support the jet rally.

This was the year to practice cross wind techniques

Also big thanks to the many volunteers of the Windsor Sun Parlor R/C Flyers.

More to follow.

Hi Peter and Paul

Thank you for putting on the Leamington Jet Rally. Too bad the weather worked against us most of the weekend. It was great to see the old faces and meet some new ones. Now if you could only put that runway on a turntable and just turn it into the wind as required!

See you all at Quinte!

Thank you Peter, Paul, (where's Mary?) Jim, Rob, Ron and all the rest of the gang. Ann and I had a great time despite the weather. And "other" things.

A new Reaction 54 kit was ordered this morning. My goal is to have it ready for Heart of Ohio!

Looking forward to next year at Leamington, and next weekend at Bay of Quinte!

HI guys and gals, it's people like yourself that really makes things happen.
Thank you all for your wonderful comments, and it was a great pleasure to see you all again.

Well the weekend did not want to end on a good note for me, my 4 year old nephew(godchild) past away last night around 2:30 am. He was born with spinal bifida, which earlier this year he had a liver transplant, he was doing very well, he even was flying an indoor heli, (those little ones you buy at wallmart) he was very good at it. After all he went thru, ammonia is what put him to rest. Good bye Troy

JOL Event

Steven & I would also like to thank Peter, Paul, Rob, & the rest of the super "Sunparlor Gang" for definitely a first class jet event. No hitches, no problems of any sort. They really know what they are doing! And a great bunch of guys & gals to boot!

I know Rob certainly enjoyed picking up stranded planes (when his 3 wheeler ran!) & the pilots, including Steven were grateful for this.

Rcman did unbelievable cross wind landings ALL weekend. I watched every one of them & he made it look like NO wind at all! I still don't understand what I saw.

We also were disappointed in the poor weather. We would have liked to try our new jet out. But there will be another time for this.

We met some new people, saw some new jets, & despite the weather, had quite an enjoyable weekend!

Steven would like to thank all the sponsors of door prizes also, especially AltecareRC for his first liter of turbine oil & Ontario Adhesives for the glue which we will use for sure.

WE certainly are looking foreward to 3rd annual JOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
See you all at Quinte.
no such thing as too fast!

Mary and I would like to express our thanks as well, despite the weather we had a great time (Rebecca too). We'll be there next year and hope to see many of you at Quinte!

Paul, very sad news, so young, my condolences.

Always difficult when we lose a loved one... especially a precious little 4-year-old. Very sad news for sure. We will just never know why this kind of thing happens, but I try to look at it this way. Some little ones are just so special, God calls them home early. What else can be said? My condolences to you and your family Paul. Keep the good memories close.
