Edmonton Area Model Soaring

Looking for information on any flying sites in the Edmonton area for flying thermal sailplanes or slope. I know of only one site for slope that is in the west end of the city by the river.
Mainly looking for large open space (like a sod farm) just to fly thermal ships using winch or bungee. Anyone out there know of such a place.
Also, any interest in starting a Soaring club in Edmonton?

There is a slope soaring site in the Science Park, but I have never seen anyone there.. You have to be on ch 20 or below per the frequency sharing agreement with the club that has a runway on the top of the hill.
My son and I did some aerotowing last year....got some big boomers out at the Stoney Plain field . One flight was way over an hour, we only came done because we didn't know how the batteries were doing.....
Other than that, there are some folks flying electric powered gliders...but you can fly those anywhere.....
