Monokote trim sheets have a paper backing that you have to peel off prior to applying the trim. Before you peel off the paper backing, print your graphic on it with your ink jet printer. You are putting the trim sheet into your printer with the vinyl facing down. The problem as I stated before is the image will be backwards when you cut out, you can solve with this with your photo editing software. Their is usually a mirror, flip or reverse function, prior to printing, so you most mirror the image before printing. When you cut out the graphic it comes out correctly. Hope this helps.
Thanks Mike. I now understand your technique. I feel rather silly, because I misread your original tip and thought that you were somehow printing a multicoloured design on to the Monokote and then cutting out that design to apply to the model . I now understand that you are simply printing a template, in reverse, on to the backing.
