Help learning tail-in funnel

I have been working on tail-in funnels on the sim and still haven't gotten the stick movements down. I sometimes get the timing right and can get a nice funnel for a couple of times around but can't seem to fugure out exactly how I did it. Anyone have a good description of the stick movements for this maneuver? I usually start into it from backwards flight and then turning 90deg to get the tail pointing in.

The stick movements are quite similar to a very tight backward turn. You will find that the collective and cyclic will make the funnel bigger or smaller, while the tail rotor input will help control your height. Also, the steeper the funnel is the harder it is to do because the airspeed will be faster. Try doing them fairly flat and then work your way into making them steeper and faster. You'll just have to keep practicing until you find the sweet spot on the sticks.
