ThunderTiger 61 GP ... settings.

Yes. This is one of those times where I have to ask a question to anyone who has this engine (in running condition).

The ThunderTiger 61 GP was a nice engine... until it misbehaved. Now it refuses to be happy at idle AND at top RPM. I can tune it to be happy at either end of the scale, but not both at the same time.

If anyone has this engine in working condition, please refer me to some of the needle settings currently used for the air-bleed valve.

Thank you.

I don't know if this may help you but it doesn't hurt to check. I had a TT46 that was on the shelf for a year and when I took it back out I had similar tuning troubles. The fix for me turned out to be the high speed needle o-ring. It had flattened a bit and was leaking air a bit at high throttle.

The symptoms were having to richen the high end a lot to get it to run past half, then the idle of course suffered from being very rich too. Replacing the o-ring sorted it all out.

Just a thought. It might work for you too...

It's just an airplane...

I will give it a try. Sounds like an option (after having cleaned everything top to bottom).
